Culta Permanent Cherries Flower Review
By Liam Coates
Permanent Cherries is a new cultivar on the Maryland market produced by Culta. This beautiful new strain is a cross of Lemon Cherry Gelato x Kush Mints 11 ‘BX1’ x Permanent Marker from Seed Junky genetics, creating a truly memorable smoking experience. Upon opening up the jar your nose is hit with some fruity floral notes from the Lemon Cherry Gelato, but also some complex Sherby gas from the Permanent Marker.
This is one of those strains where you can taste notes from each of the parent strains making this strain a necessity for flavor chasers. Unlike most Lemon Cherry Gelatos or Lemon Cherry crosses, I find this to be much more relaxing and stress relieving than a regular cut of LCG.
From my personal experience I find this strain to be a indica leaning hybrid, great for keeping a level head for the daytime or winding down at the end of the night. This strain is a great option for both. Just like the Dosidos 22-22 and Amnesia OG, I think this strain has potential to be another Culta classic.
Definitely a visually striking strain with dark greens to vibrant dashes of purple, coated in sparkling trichomes. This strain often tests high in Limonene, Myrcene, and Carophyllene. These terpenes work together for a sweet, fruity, and slightly earthy smoking experience. Overall I highly recommend this strain to all the connoisseurs in Maryland!
