Unwind Anxiety: Wellness Workshop

You are invited to join us for a morning of wellness, Saturday September 19, from 8:00am – 12:00pm at the Chesacanna gym!
Between 8am-9:15am, bring your mat, towel and water bottle as we begin the morning with yoga and meditation. Ryan Smith will lead you through a relaxing, gentle yoga class. Then, Cheryl Hicks of Tranquil-Chi Center in Mt. Washington, will follow up your yoga practice with a thoughtful meditation meant to reduce anxiety and stress. This practice is sure to leave you feeling centered and anxiety-free. Yoga mats will be provided by The Feel Collection, and are free to participants!
From 9:15am-10:00am, hop off the mat and grab a morning snack from the Contented Rooster, while we transition to an informative education session with Darren Obrien from Hemp Hill Farm and Devin Holihan, Assistant Manager of Chesacanna. Devin and Darren will offer a brief educational session on the anxiety relieving properties of CBD and Cannabis. During this session, there will be an informal question and answer period.
Then the general public can join us at 10:00am and for the remainder of the morning, as various practitioners will be available to answer any questions and offer a la carte services for purchase. Enjoy ten minutes of anti-anxiety, yogi-based, body work from Windy of Outta My Cocoon. During this thoughtful practice you will leave feeling relaxed and informed on how to implement massage into your daily routine. Wren, also from Outta My Cocoon, will offer personal mini readings at an ala carte price. Cheryl Hicks will be available for feng shui consultations along with other Tranquil-Chi practitioners that will be on hand with an offering of anxiety reducing services and information as well. Our practioners will be set-up under tents outside, in front of our building. Practioners will have their own COVID-safety measures and fees for their services.
